This Decadent Black Forest Cheesecake combines rich chocolate and creamy cheesecake flavors, topped with cherry filling for a delightful dessert.

  • 2 cups chocolate graham cracker crumbs
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 3 (8 oz) packages cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 3 large eggs
  • 8 oz sour cream
  • 1 cup chocolate chips
  • 2 cups cherry pie filling
  • whipped cream for topping

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 325°F (163°C).
  2. In a medium bowl, mix chocolate graham cracker crumbs with melted butter, then press into the bottom of a springform pan.
  3. In a large bowl, beat cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla until smooth.
  4. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
  5. Stir in sour cream and chocolate chips, then pour over the crust.
  6. Bake for 55-60 minutes or until the center is set.
  7. Let cool, then refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight.
  8. Top with cherry pie filling and whipped cream before serving.

Notes
